Mobile Reel Divider (MRD)
The new Mobile Reel Divider from Colombier Group is designed to work on site at your premises reSizing reels up to 4,5 meters in width, up to two meters in diameter, and up to nine tons in weight.
MRD is also capable of dividing a parent reel into multiple webs. MRD provides a mthod of changing the width of large reels trimming as little as 1mm, if needed, without the need of unwrapping or unwinding the reel. thus, maintaining the original mill tension, which is mportant in modern high speed presses. The flexibility of MRD is further enhanced with patented core reduction system. Cores of 150mm/152mm can be reduced to 70/76mm without having to be rewound. The service is provided on site in the same manner with the other Colombier Mobile Services.
